It can add a lot of vibe and character to your music. As much as I love the Abbey Road plates, saturator, CLA compressors and other plugins I've purchased I will be moving on. Once I heard the plugin in action it very quickly became clear to me that its a winner. To say I'm disappointed does not express my deepest displeasure in your new strategy. Why would I pay $250/year to have access to software that's being forced upon me simply because a few plugins I use only come in the premium service? What value is that to me? If I wanted, needed, desired, or had a creative necessity for a particular product, I'd buy it! Telling me to pay a yearly maintenance fee for 100+ products I'll never use to get the 20 or so I want to use is not in any way a bargain or even realistically consumer oriented. Your new business model selfishly puts your company and bottom line ahead of the end user forcing us to anti up to an expensive subscription based service with literally no tiered pricing options to pick and choose which plugins we value. Particularly the ability to purchase only what I want and need and find relevant to my workflow. I have been using Waves Plugins for years and have been satisfied with the affordability, quality, and usefulness of the plugins.
